Commercial HVAC & Plumbing Field Technicians, Installers, and Plumbers

LBA Commercial HVAC-R & Plumbing’s field team is a diverse group of dedicated, passionate and skilled HVAC service technicians, installers and plumbers. Our field team is composed of skilled and accomplished mechanics, many of whom possess prestigious Master Mechanic accreditation.

Our field team members pride themselves on being servant leaders to our clients. They collaborate internally and with their clients to identify the best possible solution to a problem, and they have a positive, can-do attitude.

Through LBA’s philosophy of continuous improvement, we plan and hold annual training and development programs to invest in the skills, knowledge and know-how of our field team. We also cross-train field team members to ensure we are responsive to our clients’ unique HVAC service, installation and plumbing needs.

Roy Boyd, Commercial Vice President of Operations

LBA Air Conditioning, Heating, & Plumbing Inc. announces Roy Boyd as the new Commercial Vice President of Operations. Boyd’s leadership role will oversee the Commercial and Mechanical business units. In alignment with this new hire, LBA shares their excitement as these departments unite which will allow for shared resources, joint collaboration, and maximize their community giving as a joint force.

Roy Boyd has 20 years of leadership experience in construction, engineering, and commercial sales. From managerial roles to CEO of his own consulting company, Boyd has developed the skills and insight to lead teams of all sizes. Boyd’s natural leadership and extensive background make him the perfect fit to join the LBA team.

As the Commercial Vice President of Operations, Boyd will provide overall support and vision, as these departments continue to work together to achieve their common goals. LBA is pleased to welcome Boyd to the leadership team and experience the impact he brings to this new role.

Gregg Clary, Commercial Account Manager

Gregg leads LBA Commercial HVAC-R & Plumbing’s Account Management function. He has over 15 years of experience within the Customer Experience discipline in diverse industries such as HVAC & Plumbing, e-commerce, and Retail.

Gregg has vast experience in developing, deploying and managing cutting edge client experience programs that captures actionable data to measurably and consistently enhance the client experience. Gregg completed a degree in Business/Exercise Science from Emporia State University and also completed a Graduate Certificate in Digital Marketing from the University of Virginia.

Gregg resides in Spring Hill, KS, with his wife Michelle and son. He enjoys smoking BBQ, reading, and attending sporting events.

Zach Stangl, Manager-Field Operations

Zach joined LBA Commercial HVAC-R & Plumbing in 2014 and leads our field service and install teams. Zach’s team is responsible for planned and predictive maintenance, service repairs, and equipment installations. Zach is an HVAC industry veteran with more than 20 years of experience and has achieved the prestigious accreditation of Master Mechanic.

Zach lives in Overland Park with his son and enjoys camping and working on anything mechanical.

Liz Martinez, Commercial Services Accountant

Liz Martinez is responsible for the accounting functions of LBA Commercial HVAC-R & Plumbing. Liz prepares financial documents, creates invoices, processes payments and handles payroll, among other responsibilities. Liz joined LBA in 2012 and has more than 13 years of accounting experience.

Liz received her associate degree in accounting from Johnson County Community College and is pursuing her bachelor’s degree in accounting at Emporia State University. Liz lives in Lenexa with her husband, Tony, and five children. Liz enjoys going to the zoo with her family, cooking, and watching movies.

Chris Hooper, Business Development Manager

Chris is responsible for Commercial HVAC-R & Plumbing division’s Planned Maintenance Agreement Sales and new client development. With over 20 years of sales, contracting and project management experience, Chris brings a wealth of experience in the consultative selling arena that has consistently provided his clients with high value solutions through his ability to identify client pain points and recommend solutions.

Over his 25-year career, Chris has worked for companies in diverse industries such as Loomis Fargo, Concepts for Business, and Automated Business Systems.  While at Loomis Fargo, Chris increased annual regional revenue by 30%, enabling the company to expand from 4 offices locally to 6.

At Concepts for Business, Chris secured the largest revenue contract in company history with a value over $4 million.  While at Automated Business Systems, Chris was proud to secure the contract to provide weapons racks, ancillary equipment, installation and contracted maintenance services for the 1st Brigade.  This $1.4 million contract ensured 1000 personnel were properly equipped for deployment.

Chris possesses two bachelor’s degrees in English and Secondary Education from the University of Missouri/Kansas City.  Chris is a lifelong Kansas City resident, and he currently resides in Prairie Village with his wife, Kim and their son.  He enjoys playing all sports, astronomy, reading and music.
